Network Outreach Associate Volunteer

FULL TIME OR PART TIME  |  REMOTE

Building a network of organizations that are helping people and looking for volunteers is essential to our mission at COVIDConnect. It is through our vetting of these organizations that we are able to ensure the quality of the recommendations we give: both, to people in need and people wanting to volunteer. 

We are looking for volunteers to help reach out to NGOs as we scale our effort within Massachusetts and beyond. 

Your volunteer activities will include
  • Conducting daily outreach activities
  • Contacting and building relationships with potential partner organizations
  • Maintaining logs of outreach data 
  • Working with your Regional Outreach Coordinator to establish contact priorities 
We are excited about you if
  • You have access to a computer with stable internet
  • You have access to a phone with reliable service
  • You're a strong communicator, both orally and written
  • You're available at least 5 hours per week
  • You're empathetic towards others
  • You have a passion for helping individuals without judgement

Digital Marketing Manager Volunteer

FULL TIME OR PART TIME  |  REMOTE

This volunteer position will play an essential role in helping to scale our initiative.  We are looking for a creative problem solver who has a working knowledge of best practices and trends in digital marketing. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling with a strong understanding of how to leverage digital channels to drive awareness and engagement.

Your volunteer activities will include
  • Developing social media strategies to build awareness and drive engagement
  • Working closely with the core team to align on goals and messaging themes
  • Informing and influencing content, editorial calendar, and user journeys through social campaigns and digital channels
  • Keeping track of what is trending, digitally, where it is relevant to our initiative
  • Supporting all components of digital campaigns: landing pages, email marketing, conversion paths, keyword research, and content creation
  • Developing a data informed approach to setting measurable objectives for brand awareness
  • Communicating with followers, monitoring sentiment, and responding to queries in a timely manner
We are excited about you if
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience building and managing campaigns and communities on social media channels
  • You are up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
  • You have strong analytical skills and familiarity with Google Analytics
  • You have excellent content creation skills to generate, edit, publish, and share topical trending content across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn profiles
  • You have an opinion on the Oxford Comma
  • You're available at least 15 hours per week
  • You have access to a computer with stable internet
  • You have access to a phone with reliable service
  • You're passionate about helping individuals without passing judgement

Content Curator/Creator Volunteer

FULL TIME OR PART TIME  |  REMOTE

Misinformation is everywhere, and in this time of emergency, getting people information they can trust is not just important, it can be life saving. We are looking for volunteers to help us find and create content that is engaging, trustworthy, and informative.

Your volunteer activities will include
  • Working closely with the core team to align on goals and messaging themes
  • Working with the marketing manager to help form a content strategy
  • Finding new content relevant to our initiative
  • Vetting content for factual accuracy
  • Creating original content that helps build awareness for our initiative
We are excited about you if
  • You're a strong communicator, both orally and written
  • You're familiar with editing tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop
  • You have access to a computer with stable internet
  • You're available at least 10 hours per week
  • You're empathetic towards others
  • You're passionate about helping individuals without passing judgement
